Vs. Tuesday: Two Bands! One Song! Who Wins? FIGHT! Christmas 2018 Edition

Seeing as it’s Christmas… Mariah Carey scored a massive hit with her sultry performance of “All I Want For Christmas Is You” that first saw release in 1994 and has been a staple of Christmas playlists ever since. Carey has re-recorded the song twice, once with Justin Bieber and also released a pair of music videos for it as well.

In the Red Corner, we have Slaves (US) performing their acoustic version of the song with the frontman Johnny Craig’s wonderful vocals. They’ve got a new acoustic EP appearing on 18th January entitled “Revision” which sees them rework a number for older tunes. In the Blue Corner? Well, My Chemical Romance Recorded a version more than a few years ago that has appeared on a lot of Holiday Season compilations. Who wins? Well, it’s Christmas!
