In a first for the Vs Tuesday series, were going to pit a cover from one of our review requesters against… a more commercial offering. The song itself should need no introduction. A couple of weeks back Northern Irish Black Metal solo project Dratna released this cover of “Zombie” by The Cranberries in tribute to the late Dolores O’Riordan. Last week, we reviewed the epic “An Cath (The Battle), a 28 minute 4 track EP that is worthy of note on so many levels.

In Metal terms, Bad Wolves are probably more commercial than most. Featuring former Divine Heresy and God Forbid members, they are a band that stand between Hard Rock and Melodic Metal. It was their version that Dolores O’Riordan was going to appear on before she passed away and is said to have loved the recordings she’d heard. Who Wins? You decide!
