Vs. Tuesday: Two Bands! One Song! Who Wins? FiGHT! Type O Negative.

Type O Negative were an American Gothic Metal band fronted by the much missed Pete Steele who passed away from an aortic aneurysm in 2010 at just 48. After seven studio albums including “October Rust” and “Bloody Kisses” which went Gold and Platinum respectively, the remaining members of the band laid Type O Negative to rest with Steele. “I Don’t Wanna Be Me” was one of the singles from 2003’s “Life Is Killing Me” which is accompanied by a hilarious tongue in cheek music video.

In the Red corner we have Nemecic who recorded the cut for their August released single “Wardenclyffe” which appears via Finnish label Inverse Records. In the Blue corner, well it could only be Trivium. Frontman and guitarist Matt Heafy has been releasing a new cover practically every day via YouTube with his Twitch stream being a big part of his daily routine. It’s good to see the band get the chance with a full version for a change. Who wins? You decide!
