Throwback: “Chrono” by The Ghost Inside!

10 years is usually the minimum for a throwback but we’re going to bend the rules like shattering a shatter proof ruler in class to allow “Chrono” from The Ghost Inside to join the hall of fame. To be fair, “Returners” appeared via Mediaskare Records in 2010 so close enough. Engineered and produced by Shane Frisby at The Brick Hithouse in Hyannis, Massachusetts the album remains a stone wall classic in our books. A fans favourite mixing Metallic Hardcore with Punk influences, The Ghost Inside are often credited with getting Bury Your Dead back with original vocalist Mat Bruso. That was achieved by asking the big man to come out of retirement and perform guest vocals on “Chrono”, with a music video set in a school being a reference to his job having exited the band. The news of the return of The Ghost Inside with a new album via Epitaph Records in 2020 and working with their No. #1 fan Jeremy McKinnon of A Day To Remember and Producer of Legend Will Putney on board, it looks like their troubles maybe slowly coming to an end…
