The 12 Days of Christmas #3: “Power Of The Damager” by Prong!

The festivity of the twelve days of Christmas runs from 25th December to 5th January, based on an English Christmas Carol that sees a lover give gifts cumulatively over the Christmas season starting with Christmas Day. Originally published in 1780, it’s probably French in origin, Skull Island has been conquered many times in it’s rich heritage. So for the twelve days, we’re doing twelve Metal tracks that have something to do with the item. This maybe subject to some tenuous links…

Three is the magic number. Yes it is, it’s the magic number. It’s also the axis evil otherwise known Prong with Tommy Victor, Monte Pittman and Aaron Rossi delivering what many called a come back album via 13th Planet Records, 4 long years after 2003’s “Scorpio Rising“. Getting Ministry main man Al Jorgensen in to assist on “The Banishment” was a master stroke and the bands seventh album also got a remix version in 2009 with the likes of ex-Anthrax and Volbeat guitarist Rob Caggiano, Dope guitarist Virus, Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato and Pitchshifter vocalist JS Clayden carrying out some re-touching.
