Throwback: “Fields Of Disbelief” by Pissing Razors!

Some might say that Pissing Razors had their day during their original 1994-2004 stint and there was absolutely no need to reform in 2014. But then reforming and releasing just two tracks and playing a handful of shows in 2190 days might not count. Back in the day the band who were named after original vocalist Dave McNutt’s description of what it was like to get the clap came rip roaring out of El Paso Texas like a tornado, bringing with them a Groove Metal sound and even dropping a cover of “Domination” by Pantera for a tribute album. They managed seven albums in that time but struggled with financial issues leading to regular line up changes and ultimately effecting the consistency of their output. Their finest pair of albums happen to have two different vocalists on them. 2000’s “Fields of Disbelief” and 2001’s “Where We Come From” where they combined more Thrash in with that Groove were the two in question with Joe Rodriguez and then Jason Bragg picking up the microphone. So we’re going with the title track of “Fields of Disbelief” for today. It’s 20 year old ripper.
