Rewinding the tape back to 2003 and the project from husband and wife duo Mick Murphy and Tarrie B otherwise known as My Ruin for today’s throwback offering is an absolute pleasure. Label issues dogged the bands career and so they spent the majority of it DIY in order to control all aspects of the bands output, which before their 2014 hiatus stacked up to 13 albums if you include a trio of side projects. We’re going back to 2003 and third album “The Horror Of Beauty” for single “Made To Measure“. A lyrical bite back at the media’s portrayal of Women in Tarrie B’s trademark venom spitting vocals with some dirty sludge riffs from multi instrumentalist Mick Murphy it’s the paper note wrapped around a brick of a record that is designed to smash your neighbors windows when you play it loud!
