There can be little doubt that Pantera have been a band to have influenced Metal in a way that few others have. More than a generation of musicians have been influenced by their Groove Metal sound, which still stands the test of time and perhaps more so now than ever. Their legacy is without question and in sixth studio album “Vulgar Display of Power” from 1992, arguably they have their finest hour.
