NEWS: Nemecic in search of a muse?

Jyväskylä, Finland based Melodic Death Metal act Nemecic have thrown down a gauntlet with new single  “Invocation for the Muse”. It is the first from their as yet untitled second album, due out in Autumn 2021 via Inverse Records. The song is accompanied by a lyric video created by vocalist Aki Suomela and follows a two track single last summer which included a cover of Type O Negative classic “I Don’t Wanna Be Me“.

Guitarist Tuomo Salonen comments: ”This was the first song written for the album. We also chose to release it first, since it is a very meat-and-potatoes heavy metal song with three guitar solos and a fist-pumping middle section. Well, that and its length. The lyrics are about the delicate relationship between the artist and his inspiration. Creativity will be a carrying theme throughout the album”.
