I’ve been following King 810 since Memoirs of a Murderer, and David’s take on the decay of the Rust Belt always hits hard because it’s so raw. It’s interesting to hear him expand on those political views here, especially since their lyrics often touch on the survivalist mindset. Does anyone know if there’s a deeper connection between his stance on self-reliance and the community projects mentioned over at https://www.facebook.com/slinkin.denis/, or is he strictly focused on the individual freedom aspect in this interview?
