NEWS: Gama Bomb announce “Thunder Over London”!

Tomorrow will see the surprise release of a digital EP called “Thunder Over London” from Irish Thrash quartet Gama Bomb via Prosthetic Records. A three track burnt offering has been preceded by a music video for the title track directed by Kiran Acharya that is a rallying cry against nuclear weapons.

Vocalist Philly Byrne comments: “This EP was born out of the sessions for our last album “Sea Savage” – two of the tracks were meant for the album but had their own vibe, so felt better somewhere else; the last track we couldn’t find a lyric idea for – maybe I was burnt out – but it later became “Thunder Over London”.”

“Thunder Over London is a song about the waste and evil of nuclear weapons. We live in a world where thousands of nukes are ready to launch any second, but nobody writes songs or makes movies about it any more. They’re still an axe hanging over all our necks – we want people to wake up and get angry about that.”
