Throwback: “To the Threshold” by Hatebreed!

The release of the fourth studio album from Connecticut Hardcore crew Hatebreed on 29th August 2006 via Roadrunner Records is definitely something to be celebrated with the  15th Anniversary of that release being just yesterday. Their first and only drop via that label saw frontman Jamey Jasta running with a main lyrical theme, overcoming “feelings of depression, guilt, sadness, anxiety, alienation. I wanted to show that there is hope, and you have to start with yourself. You can’t help other people if you can’t help yourself” and when four months before the record the first single “To the Threshold” premiered on MTV2 Headbangers Ball: The Revenge, everyone knew a classic was on the way…
