NEWS: Troglodyte crush with “Sasquashed (Bigfoot Crank Stomp)”!

Complete with a guest vocal appearance from Shawn Knight (Child Bite, Shock Narcotic), “Sasquashed (Bigfoot Crank Stomp)” is the third track released from the long awaited new album, “The Hierarchical Ecological Succession: Welcome to the Food Chain” from Troglodyte. Telling the cautionary tale of trapping a murderous bi-pedal creature in your basement and getting it hooked on methamphetamines, it’s the third from the album that will drop via Blood Blast Distribution on 5th March. With titles like “Bring Me the Head of Bigfoot” “Mummified Yeti Hand” “Murderous Bi-Pedal Hominid Rampage (Where are My Legs?)” and “Entrails Torn from a Cryptid’s Gut” these songs are not for the faint of heart or those without a sense of humor.

Vocalist Jeff Sisson comments on the song “The very first song we ever wrote as a band was a song called “Sasquashed.” It was a corn-filled mess. Far be it to waste a terrific title, I repurposed and used for this new auditory tale. The band also wanted to do something that serves as a reminder to those who struggle with addiction and that taking in one of these mysterious “monsters” into your home, while might seem like a good idea, can only end in disaster”
