NEWS: Atena find inspiration in mysterious places for new single “Oh My”!

Known for exploring dark and emotional themes in their music, typically accompanied by intense riffs, screaming vocals and heavy breakdowns Norwegian Metalcore act Atena have made the decision to change things for a new single titled “Oh My” and break out an emotive ballad. Mixed and mastered by Swedish producer Henrik Udd (Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, Imminence) it continues the bands journey into pushing boundaries and experimenting with fireworks.

The band comment: “The intention behind the song was to create an emotional soundtrack that captures the sensation of life flashing before your eyes, and we actually drew inspiration from movie trailers. We love the irony in how trailers often end up being better than the movies themselves while also revealing the entire plot. The music though is usually very good, and we wanted to capture some of that in this new track.”

Atena have also been announced as main support for Throw The Fight with three shows upon our shores in May
