NEWS: The Arcane Order hear the “Cry of Olympus”!

Now featuring in their ranks members of Soilwork, HateSphere and MØL, the return of Denmark Death Metal quintet The Arcane Order with a fourth studio album is set for 8th June via Black Lion Records. Titled “Distortions from Cosmogony” the album was recorded by Jacob Hansen (Aborted, Arch Enemy, Katatonia) alongside Jacob Bredahl (Lifesick, Eyes, Livlos) with “Cry of Olympus” marking the first single. A concept record it revolves around humankind’s eternal existential struggle of division between autonomy and submission, internally as well as externally with pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.

Lead singer Kim Song Sternkorpf states on the song: “The is the first single from the album and probably the most progressive of the songs on the album. We purposely wanted to create a song that would work well as a first impression of the new album and a gateway into the rest of the songs on the album. Can man handle true power or will it be his undoing? “Cry of Olympus” is as classical as a tale of hubris gets. A mortal challenging fate by aspiring to climb as high as one can get to fall just as far. Because all heroes can fail us. That’s what makes us human”
