Interview: Vintersea talk “Woven Into Ashes” with Heavy New York!

Guitarist Riley Nix is the man chosen by Vintersea as their representative to be grilled under the FBI style interrogation spotlights of Heavy New York for an interview about their new album “Woven Into Ashes” and rightly so as he’s already spoken elsewhere. The Portland quintet showcase progressive, melodic and blackened tendencies on the album and have quite literally pulled out all the stops to have the best people on their team when it came to putting it together. Adorned by cover art from Ne Obliviscaris singer Xenoyr and engineered by Gabe Johnston (Unto Others, Silver Talon), the album comprises eight new cuts and will drop on 5th May via M-Theory Audio. Mixing was handled by the team of Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland (Rivers of Nihil, Lorna Shore, Black Crown Initiate) with mastering courtesy of Troy Glessner (Devin Townsend, Underoath, Moonsorrow).
