Throwback: “Slave” from Aleister!

If there is one thing we don’t do as much as we should it’s celebrate the victories. Often a little too quick to move onto the next thing in the punishing schedule rather than stop take a look back and give ourselves the credit we deserve. In the case of French Thrash overlords Aleister, having taken the better part of 25 years out of the game, their return in 2018 was something that should have been celebrated more than it actually was, simply because cuts like “Slave” are pure old school class. As the band put it themselves, it’s “a concentrate of power and precision, the band open its universe and propels you into its own vision of Thrash Métal” and we couldn’t put it better ourselves.
