NEWS: Left To Rot make it two from the tomb!

Trudging further into the dark recesses of the human condition Austin Texas based Death Metal trio Left To Rot have unveiled a second cut in “Come To Me” from their 6th October releasing five track EP “Breath Of The Tomb“. In the cruel summer of 2021 they dipped their toes into the tar pit, releasing a four song self titled demo EP. Guitarist and vocalist Jason Dahlke comments: “There’s nothing better than when a mosh pit goes off and I really wanted to write something mid-tempo that people could go hard too. I decided to depart a bit from the riffs I was writing on the rest of the album and take a straightforward approach. When we got together to jam on it we tried to just let the groove guide us with no real desire to make it something it wasn’t. Whenever Aryan [Nawim, bassist] tells me ‘That riff jams, dude!’ I know I’m on the right track. Justin [Olejnik, drummer] came up with the idea of a malevolent deity purposely dragging people into its realm to inflict pain on them, so I took that and morphed it into the lyrics. We took out all the frills and just wanted this one to pile drive people into the ground – hope ya dig it.”
