Who the f*** are Pinewall and why should you get to Reading Rising early doors to catch them? Originally formed in 2018 as an Alternative Punk collective the followed the path of bands like Tribe Of Ghosts and with a line up changes and fresh creative inspiration, ripped up the script and evolved their sound. That happend this year and has seen them unveil a pair of Post-Hardcore flavoured singles, although the quartet regularly step across the genre divide to tracks that are… a little more enigmatic than most. Metalcore, Emo and Alternative Metal have all been ram raided to create a sound more well rounded while the band cute influences from Thrice, Alexisonfire and La Dispute as getting them together in the first place. Remember “A Night with Frank Sinatra, Two Tabs of Mescaline, and a French Tranny” by Eidola? Well following the classic Post-Hardcore song titles which require breathing they have “X Games At The Vatican” and “You Didn’t Go Up There To Fish!” out there in internet land for your listening pleasure!
