Throwback: “The Rift” from Saasta!

While we wouldn’t necessarily always celebrate the first anniversary of a record there is always an acceptation to the rule. After all, rules are made to be broken. So with that in mind it’s time to chase away some Monday morning back to work blues with a very short trip down the yellow brick road that is Memory Lane. 25th November 2022 saw the arrival of the debut album “Crucial To None” from Finland Blackened Doom Death Metal act Saasta and despite it’s artwork looking a bit like that of “Catharsis” by Machine Head without the blood, it is deserving of a spin. Here’s “The Rift” to prove that and lets not forget, the band have a new EP just a few days away on the 5th December in “Black | Death | Doom” out via Inverse Records.
