NEWS: Dark Funeral return to Transylvania!

With guitarist Lord Ahriman being the last man standing from the line up that brought us the self titled record from Swedish Black Metal masters Dark Funeral  back in 1994, the 9th August 2024 re-recorded 30th Anniversary edition promises something intriguing. Produced and mixed by David Castillo at the Ghostward Studios (Dark Tranquility, Opeth, Whitechapel) and mastered by Thomas “Plec” Johansson (Mayhem, Soilwork) it falls into the same category as the recent re-recordings of Sepultura classics by the brothers Cavalera and we can only hope they’ve reached the heights of those. A second cut from the new album has appeared in “Shadows Over Transylvania” with pre-orders are available over at bandcamp.
