NEWS: The Spirit get trapped in Room 101!

Revered German Blackened Death battalion The Spirit have revealed a second single from their upcoming, fourth album, “Songs Against Humanity” which is out on 25th October via AOP Records. Titled “Room 101” it doesn’t find Paul Merton, Frank Sinner or Nick Hancock from the classic comedy panel game in the music video as the band follow their album “Of Clarity and Galactic Structures” in style with five different limited edition vinyl variants!

Guitarist and vocalist Matthias Trautes comments: “Room 101′ was the first song I finished for the new album. Lyrically inspired by the dystopian classic ‘1984’ by George Orwell, this song carries the listener to a bleak future of repression and the death of free will. It’s one of the shortest The Spirit tracks ever, but it’s a real banger.
