NEWS Combustion 96 love Paul Hogan movies?
Starting out in 2015 as a studio project with guest vocalists in Dallas Texas, Combustion 96 have gradually evolved into a fully fledged band with a desire to continue to waterfall release singles and play live shows. Something of a supergroup the band now consist of vocalist Jon Howard (Threat Signal, Imonolith, Arkaea), bassist Chase Bryant (ONI, Warbringer), drummer Yoyo Bianchi (Teravolt, Sleeping Dog), guitarist Benjamin Lechuga (Delta) and guitarist Philip Näslund (Bruce Dickinson, Multi Platinum Producer; Bad Wolves, Paul Gilbert) all surrounding founding guitarist Niklas Rubensson. Now they premier “Fallen Angel” as they look to capitalise on the momentum of last years cuts “Out the Line” and “Lost In The Dark“…
Guitarist and Producer Philip Näslund: “It was so much fun writing and recording this song with the band. We were able to capture some crushing riffs and grooves on this one. Jon Howard did a phenomenal job channelling a more extreme vocal style, easily able to match the aggression of the track. This is one of those songs that developed from a heavy guitar riff, with everyone bringing their best to the table. I had a blast figuring out and trading guitar leads with Benjamín Lechuga, who recorded a face-melting, yet playful solo. We’re so pumped for this song to see the light of day!”
