NEWS: Onheil watch hope die!

As they reach their 25th anniversary Dutch Blackened Death Metal band Onheil have issued a music video for their freshly remastered 2007 single “As Hope Dies“. That appears courtesy of Black Lion Records who re-issued a pair of bands highly acclaimed albums in 2009’s ‘Razor’ and 2014’s ‘Storm Is Coming’ earlier this year. If you missed it, in 2023 the band returned with ‘In Black Ashes’, mixed and mastered by legendary producer Dan Swanö (Dissection, Opeth, Dark Funeral) at Unisound Studios and rumour has it there is a lot more where that came from…

Guitarist and vocalist Amok comments: “Man, ‘As Hope Dies’ changed everything for ONHEIL. That song and video took us from a chaotic, always-drunk demo band playing tiny shows to opening for VADER and MAYHEM, landing our first record deal, and kicking off years of gigs and festival mayhem! The music video, with all that old footage, still stands as an awesome testament to those crazy early days!”
