NEWS: Spiritual Deception seek new life on other Worlds?

Italian Death Metal quartet Spiritual Deception have unleashed their first new material since their critically acclaimed album “Semitae Mentis“, premiering a music video for a single titled “The Gate Unseen“. Simone Pietroforte (And Hell Followed With, Worm Shepherd, Reflections) at Divergent Studios in Italy then handled the mixing and mastering with the video being directed by Maurizio del Piccolo at Moviedel Productions.

The band comment: “With this track, we wanted to try something different—going for a more modern sound and letting our usual symphonic elements take a step back. Lyrically, it delves into the Great Filter theory, which is tied to the Fermi Paradox about the possibility of extra-terrestrial life. We really focused on the songwriting to make it a fast, tight, and crushing song where the instruments do most of the talking.”
