NEWS: Face Yourself confirm fury road isn’t just reserved for Mad Max?
Continuing their collaboration with producer Joey SturgisĀ (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada), Transcontinental Deathcore force Face Yourself have premiered a music video for “Fractures” as the first from a new EP. Described as an evolution into darker and more psychologically brutal territory, “Fury” is set for a 26th September grand unveiling via Sumerian Records.
Vocalist Yasmine Liverneaux shares: “We are excited to release our new single ‘Fractures’ produced by Joey Sturgis. The lyrics explore a darker theme, as it speaks a lot about self hatred, exploring the pressure of beauty standards and the “mutilations” those pressures can lead someone to. It’s like changing your appearance so much to fit a mould to the point that you don’t even recognise yourself which can be very violent.”
“Alongside this new single, we’re happy to announce the future release of our new record Fury. After 2 years of being a band, we have reached a sound that we think looks like us, this is our best work yet and we are happy to be working once again with Joey Sturgis. He became such a great element to our team, and is always pushing us to improve ourselves.”
