NEWS: Diamond Construct become discarded?

Following the announcement that they will be joining the likes of Parkway Drive, Polaris and Northlane on the Hellbound 3 day Australian Metal Cruise in October, Diamond Construct have shared a first single of 2026. Leaning into a darker, more mood-driven soundscape, “Discarded” captures the weight of self-doubt and the ache for genuine connection while building on the sonic depth of 2024 album “Angel Killer Zero“.

Vocalist Kynan Groundwater explains: “The song explores personal battles with feeling like you’re never good enough for someone time after time. It’s about longing for real love, and the sense of loss when it all goes south. This song resonates deeply with me, and I know it’ll be cathartic to perform live, similar to how “Faded” feels therapeutic on stage. I think “Discarded” will connect with people who’ve experienced that same loneliness and struggle with self-worth.”
