NEWS: Soul of Anubis muse on lifecycles!

Directed, produced and edited by Henrique Reis, a music video for the title track of the new Soul of Anubis album “Ritual” has been unveiled by Time To Kill Music to coincide with the records release. The promise is of massive riffs, dark groove and emotional gravity thanks to their explosive fusion of Thrash, Sludge, Doom and Post-Metal with a guest vocal appearance from Keijo Niinimaa from Rotten Sound on one they call “Mind Crusher“…

The band comment: ““Ritual” represents the process of mental passage, liberation from pain, despair of struggle and submission to the new world. It is the story of acceptance and salvation, where the sturdy truth will be part of eternal life. [As an album] “Ritual” represents the passage from life to death and rebirth into a new cycle. During these last years, we have lost beloved ones, we have lost the freedom to breathe, we have lost some companionship and we had to fight to lift our souls back on trial. In Egyptian mythology, Ra, God of the Sun, goes down to the underworld every night to help the dead cross to the other world and ensure that a new dawn would happen. So, “Ritual” is a memorial to our beloved ones who passed away, speaks for the mental struggle that everyone has to face to overcome their demons and glorifies the victory of rebirth. As we have our demons, this is our ritual to cross our pathway.”
