NEWS: Blackment release the first of two singles!

While it remains untitled and without cover artwork, a sophomore album from Finnish Melodic Metal act Blackment has been confirmed for release on 12th June via label home Inverse Records. The follow up to 2022’s “Plains of Oblivion“, which took the band to Heavy Metal Heart Festival as well as the the semi final in the Wacken Metal Battle Finland competition is said to be preceded by not one but two further singles. The first of them is“In Motion”, which is built upon the foundation of a melody was found from the depths of guitarist Allan Välimaa’s desk drawer and was given a completely new arrangement…

Guitarist Allan Välimaa: “In Motion is a concentrated burst of energy packed into less than three minutes – just enough to make you want to listen to it again. Sometimes the tempo slows down, and other times the choruses really blow up. Sure, we left a bunch of gear in the parking lot at the shoot location, but luckily it was still there the next morning. I also got to feature my new favourite guitar from Raato Custom Guitars in the video”
