Rabidfest 2026: Breaking Down The Bands #6: Novacrow!

It’s a fantastic film but if you’re wanting something more then you could head down to The Bullingdon in the heart of Oxford where Rabidfest will be taking place over the weekend of 31st October and 1st November. There you will find stage dives, high fives, blood, sweat and beers as no less than twenty bands take to the Devolution Magazine sponoured stage for two days of madness. It’s all for a great cause as well as the event raises money for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. So what are you waiting for? Rome wasn’t built in a day and Hell sure ain’t gonna freeze overnight! Get a ticket and lets have some fun!

A warm up show dubbed “28 Days Prior” will take place at The Jericho Tavern in Oxford on 3rd October and the line up for that looks like this:

Anti-Clone (headliner)
Chaplain
Blackmarket
Away With The Seas

Rabidfest itself will take place at The Bullingdon in Oxford over the weekend of the 31st October and 1st November 2026, here’s the line up in full:

Spared An Endless Orbit
Necronomicunt
The Blade Itself
Twin Skeletons
Sabertooth
Lesbian Bed Death
Bldsugr

What’s that? You read the headline and you’re wondering just who Novacrow are? Well you’re in the right place. The band are an Alternative Metal act from Liverpool fronted by Kitty Staunton who are known for genre blending in dark and deviant fashion. They’re not afraid of the dark, bringing elements of Industrial Horror to their riff laden material as cuts like “Fight The Horde” and “Medusa Medusa” prove although in all fairness they also admit to loving Christmas. Putting their own spin on the Pied Piper of Hamelin style tale that is German folklore in “The Krampus” the band released their own rendition in 2024 and its an absolute banger. It’s so good they named it twice.

One of the great things about festivals like Rabidfest is the variety of bands you get, all trying to convince you that they’re the next best thing and having shared stages with the likes of Conan, Rxptrs and Evil Scarecrow as well as playing the final show of the legendary Footprints in the Custard, Novacrow have already proven themselves at standing out from the crowd. The pink hair definately helps but these are warrior souls! Their live energy is insane! So be warned, you might want to sink a Red Bull or ten to get on their level before they play!

We’re proud to be a Media Partner of Rabidfest again this year alongside Red Death Media, Moomin Merchandise, Chaos Under No Ties, Moshville Radio, GraphicsFix, TwoFace Promotions, Blackstar Amplification and main stage sponsor Devolution Magazine. The Festival is all for charity and this year the profits will be going to the The Sophie Lancaster Foundation!
