NEWS: Ov Sulfur take on a Slayer classic!

Having just finished a successful North American tour with DevilDriver, Blackened Deathcore heavyweights Ov Sulfur are now preparing to make their maiden European voyage to support Mental Cruelty alongside Extermination Dismemberment. Perhaps wanting to add something fresh to their live set the band have taken on “Disciple” by Slayer in celebration of the 25th anniversary of their “God Hates Us All” album.

Guitarist Chase Wilson comments: “’God Hates Us All’ has always been one of my favourite Slayer records. I’m stoked we got to put our spin on one of the sickest songs on it!”

Vocalist Ricky Hoover adds: “I was excited when the guys decided to do a Slayer cover, as it allowed me to see if I could hit Tom Araya style vocals. He’s a unique, stand-out voice in metal, and it was fun to see if I could add his signature melodic shouting to my repertoire.”
