The Black Map #60: Grief from Manchester!

Having released their debut single “Dormant” as recently as mid-March and sharing stages with Modern Error and Lotus Eater in Stoke-on-Trent and Leicester in June are a quintet known as Grief. Describing themselves as five pieces of a shattered mirror and exceeding 130,000 YouTube streams for that single, the band have returned with second single “Burial”. Together they create a sound that is a mixture of 90s Post Hardcore influences. They also feature the rarest of rare things, a female drummer, Grief are the surprise package of 2019 waiting to appear on the cover of Kerrang! Magazine.
