Playthrough: “Ceremony of the Rotten” from Profanity!

When you have managed to get a guest list together as good as German Death Metallers Profanity did for their December 2020 released album “Fragments Of Solace” then you can’t help but lick your lips at the prospect of what is on offer and it has to be said that each one of them did a fantastic job. For those who haven’t heard the record, that guest list runs Terrance Hobbs (Suffocation), Matt Sotelo (Decrepit Birth), Dave Suzuki (Churchburn), Dimitry Orlov (Fetal Decay) and Martl Bauer (ex-Profanity) across seven cuts Mixed and mastered by Lukas Haidinger in August 2020 at Deep Deep Pressure Studios. So they’ve chosen “Ceremony of the Rotten” which features a ripper of a solo from the aforementioned Terrance Hobbs for a drum play through by Armin Hassmann that is exactly what we need to hear!
