Throwback: “Manifest Decimation” from Power Trip!

While on the surface it may have seemed like Dallas Texas Crossover Thrash crew Power Trip appeared out of nowhere to broadside the masses with the critically acclaimed “Nightmare Logic” in 2017 and a European tour with Trivium that lives long in the memory, there is much more to their story than meets the eye. The band started out in 2008 releasing a trio of EPs before inking a deal in blood with Southern Lord Records for their debut album “Manifest Decimation” to drop in 2013. Produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by the legendary Arthur Rizk (Jungle Rot, Cavalera Conspiracy, Road Mutant) with additional tracking done in Argyle Texas by Daniel Schmuck (Frozen Soul), the thirty five minute affair is where their journey really started, the foundation of it all. So it’s time to raise a poison chalice to the much loved and much missed Riley Gale with a pro-shot live rendition of the album title track from Elsewhere in Spain as the album reaches its 10th Anniversary.
