NEWS: Reading Rising Festival announces second wave of bands for November!

12 bands. 2 stages. 0 clashes. That’s the mantra of Reading Rising Festival which returns for its fourth incarnation at The Facebar in Reading on 18th November. Their first announcement unveiled four bands in perfect symmetry, letting us know just who the headliners would be. Breaking with that however the second wave sees just two more names added to the list as we reach fever pitch at 50% with 82 days until the big event. Here are the six bands announced so far…

Our Hollow Our Home
Confessions Of A Traitor
Waterlines
InAir
Crushed By Waves
NervEndings

So who are the next pair of willing victims *ahem* stage performers? The devil we know are Waterlines, a band evolved from the ashes of Progressive Metalcore favourites Sertraline with a new sound and direction. Now fronted by Benji Mars, the band operate in a new realm of existence, blending Nu-Metalcore with EDM, their 4th August releasing EP “Anti Human” fast approaching 21k of Spotify streams alone. Playing devil’s advocate that makes Crushed By Waves the angel of the pair, although let’s be honest, the Manchester based quartet look like they know how to party. An Alternative Rock band with Post-Grunge sensibilities, anthemic cathartic choruses and arena filling dynamics, they’re currently floating alone with singles “Nothing Left” and “Won’t Get Out Alive“. You’ve been warned.

We’re proud to be a Media Partner of Reading Rising IV. If you want a ticket for this year’s incarnation you can find them here.
