NEWS: Torture Squad enter the matrix!

Following their well received 2023 album “Devilish” we night think that Brazilian Death Metal quartet Torture Squad are half past due a new record but that hasn’t stopped them from taking a risk. Taking “Thoth” from that record and feeding it into the AI machinery to get images constructed by the information provided by guitarist and in this case lyricist Rene Simionato before editing by producer Daniel Berrettini of DB Creative Studio means they have something for us. Guitarist Rene Simionato comments: “This song talks about Thoth, who carries all the ancestral wisdom of Ancient Egypt, and who in ancient Greece was known as Hermes Trismegistus. It all became a true mystical journey, bringing the mystery of the Seven Hermetic Laws, which appear in the video in a symbolic and powerful way, and which align directly with the weight of death metal. Producing the Thoth music video was a fascinating journey to Ancient Egypt with all its cultural and visual richness. Using Artificial Intelligence, I created images of the exuberant pyramids, temples, desert landscapes, art and Egyptian writing. I also used visual effects to create the mystical atmosphere surrounding the god Thoth. An enriching job that I did with great pleasure!”
