Vs. Tuesday: Two Bands! One Song! Who Wins? FIGHT! Smashing Pumpkins Edition…

The lead single from their 1995 released double album “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness” produced by main man Billy Corgan is one of the most recognisable in The Smashing Pumpkins discography. It won a Grammy Award for “Best Hard Rock Performance” and appears on VH1, Triple J and Rolling Stone Magazines “100 Greatest” lists.

In the red corner, recorded for their album “Nerve Damage” are Skinlab! The Groove Metallers from the San Francisco Bay Area released their raraties compilation in 2004 with this cut being one of the stand outs.

And in the blue corner? Taking Back Sunday recorded their version for the recently released “Songs That Saved My Life” Mental Health awareness charity album via Hopeless Records! Who wins? You decide!
