Vs Tuesday: Two Bands! One Song! Who Wins? FIGHT! Creedence!

There are many fans who would argue that the Die Hard saga died after the trilogy and that “Fortunate Son” by Creedence Clearwater Revival playing during credits at the end of Die Hard 4.0 was the highlight of the film… Harsh? Possibly. But we still can’t bring ourselves to watch the fifth installment of the series…

In the Red corner we have American Celtic Punks Dropkick Murphys. It appears on their 2005 Hellcat Records compilation “The Singles Collection Vol. II” which spans a six year period between 1998 and 2004 giving you a second dose of the bands off cuts. In the Blue corner we have The Dead Daisies who recorded their version for “Make Some Noise” in 2016. The Australian American supergroup formed by David Lowy have featured an ever rotating cast of characters from the likes of Guns n’Roses, Nine Inch Nails and Motley Crew. Who wins? You decide!
