The Black Map 78: Monasteries from Manchester!

Returning with a brand new music video for “Force Fed Apathy” from their critically acclaimed November 2018 drop “Pulmonary Failure”, Manchester Deathcore heavyweights Monasteries prove once again that they’re not done yet. The EP itself was Recorded, Mixed and Mastered by Myroslav Borys at Jigsaw Audio, the very same man who handled the freshly released new Confessions of a Traitor album out this week. Citing influences in The Acacia Strain and the much loved and dearly departed Mathcore legends The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza, they specialise in combining the Technical with the Brutal. Following their debut single “The Achiever” in 2013 with 2015’s debut EP “The Empty Black”, the band shared stages with Ingested, Within Destruction and A Night In Texas before piling back in with their sophomore EP “Pulmonary Failure”.
