Throwback: “Deathrider” by Anthrax!

Setting the Cat amongst the Pigeons it’s time for a controversial throwback to get the week set off right. Back in 2004 Anthrax recorded an album made up of 14 tracks from their 1983 to 1990 era with their current line-up so that John Bush sung tracks originally released with Joey Belladonna and Neil Turbin at the helm. The final track listing was done by fan vote and the New York Thrashers recorded as live in two days in the studio. That album is called “The Greater Of Two Evils” and lead single, the reworked “Deathrider” is a gem, as is its hilariously good fun music video! The original cut of “Deathrider” appeared on the bands 1984 album “Fistful Of Metal” that depicts a fist coming out of rather than going into someone’s face….
