The 12 Days of Christmas #7: “The Seventh Circle” by Architects!
The festivity of the twelve days of Christmas runs from 25th December to 5th January, based on an English Christmas Carol that sees a lover give gifts cumulatively over the Christmas season starting with Christmas Day. Originally published in 1780, it’s probably French in origin, Skull Island has been conquered many times in it’s rich heritage. So for the twelve days, we’re doing twelve Metal tracks that have something to do with the item. DISRESPECT YOUR SURROUNDINGS!!
“On the Seventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me Seven Swans a-swimming, Six geese-laying, Five gold rings, Four calling birds, Three French hens, Two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree”
New Years Eve and so it’s time for something from Brighton Progressive Metalcore heroes Architects. From humble beginnings they’ve become a Global force and building on the legacy of the dearly departed Tom Searle with 2019’s “Holy Hell“, they did him proud. “The Seventh Circle” is an instrumental track that gives new guitarist Josh Middleton the chance to show off eight string skills.
