The Black Map #134: Sore Teeth from Fleet!
Riding in on the crest of a wave in 2017 to take the scene by storm, Sore Teeth are a Crossover Thrash trio with their roots so deep in Hardcore Punk that worms on the other side of the Globe are feeding on them. Taking influence from the likes of Terror, Hatebreed and Madball, the trio love to swear a lot and insist that everyone participate in the vocals. The results speak for themselves. A debut EP “Revolution” was the introduction that took a little bit of time for people to find, recorded and mixed DIY by the band in both guitarist Ross Walker’s bedroom and The Rehearsal Room Studio in Farnborough before being mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music. The follow up EP “F*** You In The Head” released just a matter of months later saw the band now in full flight, learning from their studio experience the first time around to enhance their DIY skills. A year later it was time for debut album “86’d” which saw them continue their prolific writing streak; short, fast music for people who like to hit the pit once again recorded, mixed and mastered by Ross Walker, this time at New Noise Studios, Fleet. But that’s not where the story ends. Oh no. In three years they’ve also managed a sophomore album in “Products of Violence“. They also love an afternoon tea. A Sunday Tea Time Hardcore Shows in leafy Guildford to be more precise.
