The seventh album from Dayton Ohio Metalcore mainstays The Devil Wears Prada certainly saw them change their game and the result “The Act” is said to be heavily inspired by “Hiss Spun” by Chelsea Wolfe. Recorded at Woolly Mammoth Studios the band pushed themselves to incorporate elements of dark elwctroncia into the mix with vocalist Mike Hranica stated “We wanted to do something that actually tests the boundaries, You don’t see that in rock, and there’s so little invention in rock these days.”

So in the Red Corner we have Concrete Albi, a band who have thrown themselves into lockdown cover versions with songs by System Of A Down, Deftones and Cold all being given a make over. In the Blue Corner we have German singer songwriter Lea Moonchild who is also part of AlphaOmega and has been lighting up the place with her piano work. Who wins? You decide!
