Interview: Decapitated talk “The First Damned” with Heavy New York!

This weekend will see the release of “The First Damned” from Polish Technical Death Metal pioneers Decapitated, a truly unique offering in every sense of the word. In an age where albums are often remixed and remastered a decade down the line, Nuclear Blast have agreed to release an album of demos that are untouched, unpolished and unfiltered in their purist, rawest form. Guitarist Waclaw “Vogg” Kieltyka took some time out to speak to Heavy New York about the release, his love for the cassette demo and its organic sound as well as sources of inspiration and technical playing in this freshly released interview.
