The Black Map #172: Dominicide from Glasgow!

Heading from London to Glasgow for the latest entry in our Black Map of the UK Underground Metal scene that zigzags its way across these Islands like some sort of Spaghetti incident it’s time we said something about Dominicide. The Death Metal Infused Speed Thrash quartet are Masterminded by vocalist and guitarist Craig Law who started over from scratch with an entirely new line up following the dissolving of the band that recorded their 2017 self titled debut. The last man standing was originally one of the guitarists of the outfit and is now joined by Louis Chesters on vocals and guitar and a rhythm section of bassist Liam McCafferty and Oskar Mazurek on drums with a ferocious new EP “The Architecture Of Oppression” set for 10th September. Mixed and mastered by Meyrick De La Fuente of Floodgate Audio (Vexed, Monuments, Derange), the record serves as a near 25 minute shotgun blast back at the naysayers with fretboard smouldering riffs and high octane energy that makes it one not to be missed. We submit first single “The Empowered” as evidence of that with flavours of Technical Death Metal and even Deathcore found within making it just the start of a new era for the band reincarnated from the ashes.
