You probably don’t need us to tell you that the German Technical Progressive Death Metal titans Obscura have a highly anticipated new album in “A Valediction” on the way with a new line up of previous members Christian Münzner and Jeroen Paul Thesseling joining mastermind Steffen Kummerer. What you might not know is that Austrian virtuoso drummer David Diepold who has been behind the kit for bands including Benighted, Cognizance and Belphegor to name but a few is their new drummer. 19th November may seem like a fair wait for the record but in the meantime, his part in the album recording is documented in this new making of featurette.
