Vs Tuesday: Two Bands! One Song! Who Wins?! FIGHT! Slipknot.

Yesterday saw us throwback to 2010 and “Women and Children Last” from Murderdolls in tribute to the dearly departed Joey Jordison and so with heavy hearts we’ve decided to keep that run going and put together a pair of covers of a Slipknot classic. Rewinding the tape to 1999 and the Des Moines Iowa Monsters debut album, the track of choice is “(sic)“, the roots of which go back to 1995 with Jordison and the tragically no longer with us bassist Paul Gray, writing the original demo with a project called The Pale Ones.

In the Red Corner with have Deathcore disaster pieces BroJob who teamed up with Darknet and Eyeless for their rendition of the classic. It was one already in the works and so it’s release just a handful of days after the tragic death of the legend was fitting to say the least. In the Blue Corner we have Blood Youth who did their version a year ago and may well choose to include it in their set list having unveiled a wealth of shows with Cane Hill, Death Blooms and Australians Diamond Construct. Who wins? You decide!
