Vs Tuesday: Two Bands! One Song! Who Wins? FIGHT?! Noose.

23 years after 1999’s self titled album from Des Moines Iowa Slipknot smashed down the walls, it still holds up to scrutiny and sounds just as good as it did now as it did then. The 18 legged machine keeps on rolling with the band holding together despite the tragic passing of former drummer Joey Jordison and bassist Paul Gray and remain one of the most influential acts around…

In the Blue Corner we have Sydney, Australian natives Wraith, who shared a video of the cut that captures the band playing the cut live on a Tasmanian tour, captured by Wolves In The Woodwork visuals. The Deathcore collective landed the killer blow with their debut EP “The Pale Hollow” and returned swinging with the cover. In the Red Corner we have Leo Moracchioli, the multi instrumentalist from Frog Leap Studio’s in Norway who reimagined the blistering cut in acoustic (ish) form in his usual eclectic and fashion. Can you ever have enough Slipknot covers? Who wins? You decide!
