In the blood red corner we have Grunge Masters Helmet who recorded their cover only a year after the song was released for a charity compilation album, somehow managing not to loose any of the grace of the original while maintaining their own style. Perhaps that’s because the vocals are in the key of C like the original while the bass sounds like it’s in the key of G#. In the icy cold blue corner we have Canadian Metal Royalty in Imonolith who recorded their rendition for their upcoming new EP “Progressions” and there can be little doubt that when they finally land upon our shores for their many time re-scheduled European tour trek that was originally supposed to be for their debut album “State Of Being“, it will be in the set.
