Throwback: “Moon Child” by Valleys!

They say that sooner or later all good things must come to an end so breaking with tradition we pay tribute to North Carolina residents Valleys as they call time on their career in Metalcore and go their separate ways. As a band they never had it easy and often luck was as as thin on the ground as the ice on a frozen lake you shouldn’t be skating on, the tragic death of original vocalist Mikey Clement a week before they released their debut album “Experiment One: Asylum” in 2016 a moment from which few might recover. But dispite all the odds, they regrouped with Jayson Mitchell and created a sophomore album in 2019’s “Fearless” of which Clement would be proud. Released by Tragic Hero Records it’s a politically and socially aware record that marks the band as a voice of the voiceless with a number heavy hitting tracks including “Opiate“. So thank you Valleys for everything you’ve done for us.
